Nanofabrication, optical instrumentation, multimodal imaging and sensing, and computational analysis
Chris Zhou is a postdoctoral fellow working on nanofabrication at the Laser Biomedical Research Center. His research focuses on developing optical instruments and associated software.
He has worked on and developed several multimodal and high-throughput imaging and sensing systems that combine physical and computational approaches with AI-driven analysis, with applications covering biological and physical processes. He is currently developing a new nanofabrication paradigm on the basis of implosion carving (ImpCarv) and Real2Sim.
Chris was trained as a PhD in Engineering, with an M.A.Sc. in Applied Physics and a B.Eng. in Optics.
