Salvatore Sorrentino is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Laser Biomedical Research Center at MIT. His research focuses on Raman spectroscopy, nonlinear optical microscopy, and machine learning for label-free biomedical imaging and molecular characterization.
He is particularly interested in developing computational and novel label-free optical approaches that connect spectroscopic measurements with biomolecular information and clinically relevant tissue biomarkers.
